Features of Salman Eshkaft Cave

There is an Elamite cuneiform inscription in Salman Eshkaft Cave, which scholars consider to be the greatest Elamite writing. Inside this cave, there are also prominent designs. In this relief, the role of a woman next to a man is depicted. Some scholars consider this relief to be the first representation of
the presence of women alongside men, which well reflects the position of women in the Elamite period.
One of the lithographs of Eshkaft Salman Shrine depicts the worship of the local king Apapir (old name Izeh) with his family and minister, all of whom are dressed in short sleeves and bare feet. Next to this relief there are cuneiform inscriptions. The theme of the second relief of Eshkaft Salman ancient site is its family worship ceremony. In the third lithograph, the image of Hani, the local king of Izeh who is praying is seen alone. On the back of this image, there is an inscription in 26 lines that shows Hani's actions in this land. In the fourth relief, an image of an important person in worship is engraved, but unfortunately, due to the lack of translation, the identity of that person is not clear. To visit the ancient site of Eshkaft Salman, you can join Persian trips tourism tours and create a memorable memory for yourself.
