Tang_e Tamradi is undoubtedly one of the most pristine natural attractions of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Provinces, which attracts many nature fans and nature lovers. This strait is 1400 meters above sea level and is located between Zaravar and Savar mountains.

Tang-e Tamrad takes its name from the Tamoradi tribe, which is from the Boyer Ahmad tribe. Tamoradi Strait has gone through many ups and downs during its life. According to the existing narrations, some believe that the resistance of the Iranian general Aryobarzan against the army of Alexander the Great took place in this strait. Also, this strait during the reign of Reza Shah Pahlavi witnessed the clash of Boyer-Ahmad tribe and the imperial forces, which is known as Tamradi war.

Features of Tang-e Tamoradi

Tang-e Tamoradi has a diverse and spectacular vegetation. There are different heights around it. When the sun shines on this place, it is given a special effect. One of the most attractive parts of this attraction is Tamoradi Strait waterfall, which is a very full waterfall and a deep pool has been created in the lower part of it. In addition to this 50-meter waterfall, other waterfalls with lower heights, about 8 to 15 meters, are located in this area.

The existence of ponds as well as caves through which water passes and water is constantly dripping from their roofs has added to its charm and beauty. The beautiful nature and oak forest around this waterfall has given a special attraction to this area in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province. The pleasant sound of the waterfall and the beautiful nature around it bring unforgettable memories for tourists along with the joy of seeing its beauties. One of the most famous summers and resorts of Tang-e Tamoradi is Balut Asali (Honey Oak)Spring. This spring is very popular among the local people of the village. This spring has several pools that many tourists visit. Another sight of Tang-e Tamorad is the oak forest and its mountain plants that are located around Tang. This forest has given a very special effect to this area. Other features of this beautiful area include having plants such as Jashir. Jashir is a medicinal and native plant that is used in traditional medicine in the treatment of many disorders such as kidney disease. Another feature of this area is the presence of squirrel species that can be seen in this area due to the conditions of this area.
