Why and when was Bayazeh Castle built?

Since a long time in the vast country of Iran, road safety has been one of the main concerns of the government. For this reason, many castles were built next to the main trade routes. These castles were often strong and housed a garrison of soldiers. Beyazeh Castle was one of these castles that was built during the Sasanid era.The passage of numerous caravans and the accompanying of famous people have caused the name of this castle and the events related to it to exist in many internal and foreign sources (before Islam to Qajar). After the arrival of Islam, this fort was still a place to watch the trade route until Hasan-i Sabbah (the leader of the Isma'ilism) captured the castle and turned it into a fortress to fight against his enemies. The last important event is the resistance of the soldiers of the castle against one of the rebellions of the Qajar period.

The architecture of Biyaze Castle:

This fort is built in several floors to overlook the invaders. Also, to prevent attacks on the castle, a moat has been dug around it. Due to its military-defense use, structures such as: numerous residential rooms, guard towers, stables for domestic animals, grain and water storage, bakery and etc, were built in it to host soldiers and tolerate for a long time.Considering the age of the castle, it is made of clay and straw. But make no mistake, the strength of the castle is very high. The starry night of the desert in the 1600-year-old castle of Bayazeh. A great combination to be on your tourist destination list!!!
